Our proposal for Is This Recyclable was to rework a portion of our original sculpture into a newly recycled object.
The new piece was designed to fit the Under Minerva Gallery space as a two-sided, site-specific tableau.
Our hope was to give the piece a second life in Is This Recyclable. Re-working the original concept, interior-as-exterior, this time exterior-as interior, we installed our wall inside the gallery. We re-modeled and re-used the original structure to create a twice re-cycled sculpture.
